Pre-Season Report 1
We had a great PreSeaon game this Tuesday afternoon at the Hallowed Grounds of Poop Central Stadium.
The Lastest scrimmage saw the return of Sean 'Ninja' Pascuttini for Team Blue as well as the Core Lineup for Team Green.
Team Blue fielded it's main reception and running rosters but could not field any of their Regular QuarterBacks.
The first four touchdowns were pretty much back to back affairs. Blue scored on some solid shoot and run plays, as well as a lucky bounce off of a Green Defender.
Green landed extremely quick replies each time. A quickoff, one down and a long bomb run into the Blue Zone. Talk about Demoralizing!
Thankfully, Blue didn't cave in and dug in enough to make things a good running battle. But ultimately, a lost cause for Blue, as they steadily lost ground to Green. A series of defensive coverage snafus cost Blue a number of TDs against, while some solid Green defense stymied most Blue plays at the Green two yard line.
Unfortunately, the lack of regular QB's for Blue really took their toll as they posted more interceptions than the Green QB's who were all regular starters. Even their Third Stringers took a plunge in the latter half, netting good fieldage and effect more often than not.
Either way, a great game however with some of the most memorable plays on both sides of the field. Spectacular runs, great coverage, amazing receptions, and overall, a very fast paced game this time around. Arguably the game to beat for 'Best Pre Season' scrimmage...
